Surveillance conducted by a licensed professional investigator can yield very definite results. Fixed Observation Surveillance

Stake outs can be a boring job, but they require a professional touch. This type of surveillance requires an alert person, who is able to spot suspicious activity from a distance, and document it as needed in order to build a case in a court of law. Private investigators who do this type of surveying are aware of the dangers – of being spotted, of missing something through inattentiveness, etc… Many investigations will require a mix of all 3 forms of surveillance, and you should be sure your detective has adequate professional experience with each one.
Moving Surveillance

Surveilling a moving target without being spotted requires a high degree of skill. These types of investigations are best handled by a senior investigator with experience doing follows, so as not to tip off the suspect. Of course, the ability to surveill is greatly enhanced by technology, such as long distance photography, GPS tracking, night vision cameras and other surveillance aids.
Electronic Surveillance

GPS tracking provides investigators and detectives with a major advantage in doing surveillance, and is a big part of any moving surveillance.
